Government & not-for-profitMake the important thing possible to picture.

Public campaigns turn on moments nobody can safely film, subjects nobody can see and histories nobody photographed. We make them, with people directing and reviewing every stage.

01The problem

The shot the message needs is the one you can't film.

A wildlife hazard on a wet road at night. A natural system you can measure but can't see. A turning point in history that happened before anyone could photograph it.

Public and purpose-led campaigns have to make those things real without exaggerating them, and every frame is read closely, by the people who sign it off and the people it's for.

03How we work

Control, not shortcuts

  1. 01

Learn what has to stay true

Footage already shot, a scientific framework, a historical record. We learn what must stay accurate before anything is made.

  2. 02

    Draw the line first

Agree what stays photographic and which messages stay scientifically precise, before a single frame is generated.

  3. 03

    Check it while it's cheap

Stills and treatments go to the people who know the subject, so mistakes are caught before anything moves.

  4. 04

    Finish to the standard

Every cut and format the rollout needs, signed off by people at every stage.

05Questions

Common questions

Can AI be used in a reputation-sensitive campaign?

Yes, with control. It is a production method, directed and reviewed by people at every stage. Road Safety Tasmania used it for one moment that couldn't be filmed safely, inside a commercial shot conventionally.

How do you keep it accurate?

The people who hold the knowledge review the work while it's made. Eureka Australia's researchers checked uniforms, clothing, time of day and crowd behaviour on the stills before anything went into motion.

Can you explain something technical without dumbing it down?

That's the job. Accounting for Nature scores the condition of nature from 0 to 100; the campaign turned that into a scoreboard a chief executive can follow.

Can you make versions for different audiences?

Yes. The Eureka documentary was made twice from the same research: a cinematic version, and an animated one for children of about eight to ten.

Do you disclose how the work was made?

That's your decision, and we support either position.
