Who we are

Absolutely AI is a creative studio based in Brisbane, Australia. We operate the website at absolutelyai.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run the site.

• Details you send us. When you use the contact form, email us or call, we receive what you give us: typically your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of your message.
• Project material. If we work together, we hold the briefs, brand assets and correspondence needed to deliver the work. Producing that work may involve processing the material you give us through third-party AI generation tools. We only use it for your project.
• Website usage. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is aggregated and does not identify you by name.

We do not run user accounts, we do not sell advertising on the site, and we do not buy or sell personal information.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss work you have asked about.
• To deliver and administer projects we are engaged on.
• To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve it.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it, and every such email includes a way to opt out.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure activity on the site. You can block these with your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site works normally without them. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

Who we share it with

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own use. We do rely on service providers to run the site and the business, and they process information on our behalf:

• Vercel, which hosts the website.
• Framer, which hosts part of the site and handles the contact form.
• Cloudflare, which stores site media and published content.
• Google, for analytics and for email and document services.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose providers that publish their own security and privacy commitments, and we share only what is needed for the service to work.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from an Australian authority.

How we keep it safe

Information is held in the systems named above, protected by access controls and encryption in transit. We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in contact about the work, and project records for as long as our accounting and legal obligations require, after which we delete or de-identify them.

If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@absolutelyai.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will publish the new version here and update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
